MALC organizes the annual Lutheran World Relief (LWR) Boxcar loading for South Central Wisconsin. In October 2011, over 30 volunteers participated in loading two boxcars full of donations from around Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois at the rail yard in Madison, Wisconsin. The 2012 Event will occur on Saturday, October 13, 2012 from 7 am until 1 pm.
MALC appreciated Ancora Coffee Roaster's donation of coffee to help wake up the volunteers and keep them going throughout the event!
